How I Work
My coaching is built around individuality, clarity, structure, and long-term improvement.
Golfers come to me with different goals, levels of experience, and expectations. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, I work across clearly defined coaching pathways, each with its own structure, timeframes, and level of involvement.
You can enter at different points, depending on what you want to achieve.
1. Assessments & Performance Reviews
Assessments form the foundation of my coaching and are recommended for any golfer who wants clear direction rather than trial and error.
They are designed to:
Identify the true limiting factors in your game
Establish realistic priorities
Provide a clear improvement plan
Assessments may include:
Studio-based analysis and technology
Movement and biomechanical evaluation
Short-game and scoring patterns
Where appropriate and logistically possible, on-course observation
Assessments are recommended but not mandatory for recreational coaching. They are required for structured programs and performance-supported work.
Assessments are billed according to time at the applicable hourly rate.
2. Adult Recreational & Once-Off Coaching
This pathway is ideal for:
Recreational golfers
Improving club golfers
Beginners
Visitors and short-term stays
Sessions can be:
Once-off or occasional
Shared (e.g. couples or friends)
Focused on specific areas such as driving, short game, or on-course play
Group sessions are particularly effective for:
Short-game work
On-course / strategic coaching
Value-focused improvement in a relaxed environment
Rates - Individual or shared by 2 persons:
Members: R930 (60 minutes)
Guests: R1,100 (60 minutes)
Value-focussed group session rates:
3 Persons: R400 per person (60 minutes)
4 Persons: R350 per person (60 minutes)
Once-off sessions are focused coaching experiences and do not include structured planning or follow-up outside the lesson.
3. Structured Adult Improvement Programs
Structured programs are designed for golfers who want planning, continuity, and measurable progress over time.
Programs:
are created after an initial consultation or assessment
follow a clear progression rather than isolated fixes
include defined timeframes to maintain momentum
Programs are not discounted lesson bundles. They are built around structure, clarity, and accountability.
